The Congress seem to be everywhere.

    • Fattu NL

So does the BJP. Remember how Newslaundry was to give us reasons for NAMO’s withdrawal from the interview? They have now been silenced.

      • Rahul

Kahaan hai BJP? Upar to nahi dikhi

      • Tushar Patel

Let’s now come to another famous CNN-IBN media personality who also writes columns frequently for Hindustan Times — Karan Thapar. What you may not know is that the Nehru family itself is related, through blood and marriages, to the high-profile Thapar family. India’s Army chief during the 1962 debacle against China, Gen. P. N. Thapar, is brother-in-law of Nayantara Sehgal, the daughter of Vijaylakshmi Pandit and niece of Jawaharlal Nehru. Gen. Thapar’s son is pro-Congress journalist Karan Thapar. Gen. Thapar’s sister is Romila Thapar, a famous “top” typical JNU Nehruvian communist ideologue historian, who gets to write our textbooks and pollute them with pro-Congress Marxist propaganda.

        • Biswarup

Your rant against Romila Thapar is disgusting. She is one of the top most historians of ancient India respected all over the world. Perhaps BJP type voodoo historians can never attain such respect world wide makes you so zealous. Do not mix politics with academics.

          • Tushar Patel

Thats why in our textbook we read warren hestings, Lord wallesly. Shame on indian historian and congress neglect thousand of great indian personality and read this our textbook.

They neglect thousand other activist apart from congres and gandhi.

          • Maurya

In our History books we read and learn more about the Governor General’s and Viceroy’s of British India than any other Indian Ruler. These idiotas give nearly 3 pages to Warren Hastings and Wellesly each. But details about Chandra Gupta Maurya our First Recorded Emperor is squeezed into a single page. And what about Chanakya who is just mentioned in under a paragraph. “Chanakya Mauryan Minister and the man who wrote about Arthashasthra” Tadaaaaaaa. Thats Indian History for you folkss written by the likes of Romial Thapar. According to people like these Indias golden age started with the Islamic invasion oopss ( Islamic peaceful migration)!!! 😛 According to which Hindus killed themselves by the millions and A noob Budhist Monk got drunk and burned Nalanda to the ground!!! 😀

          • lord voldemort

i used to think RSS is bad, all hindu zealots, but wikipedia page says abslouletly differently on them. how they helped in 1962 war and against emergency, also how, they integrated dadr and nagar havelli into india

          • SRIDHAR

Even now RSS is the first organizaton to reach strife torn areas including Jammu and Kashmir. The RSS service is of course selfless. The gharvapsi are simply tit for tat!

          • Pitamber Gupta

You communal Congi deshdrohi corrupt people had your turn ann ow it is time to shut up, and lick your wounds.

          • Hemant

Right. Now its BJP’s turn to screw History text books.

          • redant2

They are only setting it right to reflect the real way in which things progressed and by giving due weight-age to all culture and History and not just to Islamists and the commies.

          • Biswarup

U racist, fascists, superstitious blind haters, I know you want to turn india into Hitler’s Germany and muzzle all dissents who ever does not agree with you in the name of fake and shallow patriotism….It is a waste of time teach you decency and democratic values… Shame on you…BTW I am not a congi…and I do not support any of the parties which are there currently in Indian politics…

          • mast kalandar

then go to lulla land and meditate on gandhi dynasty demi-gods to attain moksha!

          • Iamdesi

Then go and lick congress Italian bar dancer dry pussy mother fucker

          • M.R

The woman you mentioned have always tried to present history in her way and with her view only. No one has presented history 100 percent correctly. She also has done according to her views. Just because some one with same views likes her, we need not like her. She is just another history twister, the curse of Indian History. This is my view I don’t expect others to join me.

          • Anil Kumar Tandale

Romila Thapar and Bipan Chandra have adored Aurangzeb to the highest, and were just short of recommending memorial larger than India Gate for Nadir Shah.

          • DefenceGuruIndia

She would have been a Zombie if not for 50 years of Congi rule! She got her lopsided views of history splashed around thanks to the Congi clique! Hail Nehru, Indira, Rajiv and……..Duh! Duh! Rahul

          • MSM7

Romila Thapar belongs to a school of history writing commonly known as marxist or historical materialist historiography. This type of history writing was first articulated by Karl Marx himself. The problem with this version of history writing is it is centered around social classes and their economics to determine historical outcomes. One of the causality of this method is it damages cultural continuity and identity. In order to achieve a secular viewpoint of history they have ignored the role of religion and other cultural aspects. When people tried to criticize these methodology of history writing they were blacklisted and marginalized often called names like communalist or revisionists.Over the years India’s leftists who ruled India since independence made sure to create status those who are loyal to them.People like Romila Thapar hugely benefited from this.

          • Kamalakanta

          • MSM7

How so??Do you have a crystal ball??Such fear mongering is uncalled for.Its just history.Scholars are finding new and improved methods to interpret history for many centuries.I am sure history writing will only improve in the future.

          • Biswarup

Who told you Romila Thapar is a marxist historian? She may have used some of the marxist tools which is normal as Marx is one of three prominent sociologists (Others are Max Weber and Émile Durkheim). All three created their own way of interpreting history and it is natural that later generation historians/sociologists to be influenced by them and follow their processes and tools. That does not make her a “marxist” historian.

Your comments on marxists historigraphy shows that you have little knowledge of this genera of history writing. Marxist historiography do not undermine culture or religion. It says Culture, religion etc are superstructure which is determined by the Base or Structure of society which are elements like social relations , class and mode of productions etc.

This is one of the very useful way of interpreting and understanding society and current historigraphy all over the world has been influenced by this method. There are other ways of interpreting history but you can not victimize someone for choosing one way or the other. its completely their own academic choice

          • MSM7

I am not victimizing anybody.I called Romila Thapar a marxist historian because she extensively uses the methodology of Historical Materialism for the interpretation of History. That is a fact.It doesn’t make her any less of a historian.

My problem is not with her,Its with the whole clique of Marxist Historians who have dominated all institutions of intellectual capital in India until recently. Not just history,But Social Sciences,Economics etc .In 70s,80s and 90s it was impossible to get fellowships and grants ICHR if you don’t use methodology preferred by them. This intellectual hegemony has distorted has distorted Indian academia and created endless problems in our society.

India’s disastrous experiments with socialism were also cheered on and often choreographed by this very privileged socialist oligarchy.Ever thought why even after 40 years since independence no body in academia questioned India’s disastrous economic trajectory.Because these “pinko” academians who gained the control of Indian intellectual sphere after Indira Gandhi’s defeat of the syndicate created such a trajectory.

And don’t give lecture on things you just found out on wikipedia.Marxist Interpret history in a purely materialistic standpoint Indian spirituality and religion are therefore of no value, as are India’s great spiritual figures. To a Marxist historian, Swami Vivekananda’s or Sri Aurobindo’s or Tagore’s understanding of Indian history and civilisation is of no relevance. Thus India’s cultural continuity and identity are basically denied.India’s civilisational achievements and contributions to the world in science, technology, philosophy, spirituality, religion, art, literature, scripts, etc., are consistently under emphasised. Failing to work out an Indian historiography of India, this perspective in effect promotes a de-Indianised view of Indian history.Do you see such things done in places like China or Japan.Go and find out then come and find me.

          • Biswarup

For arguments sake if I consider for a moment that Indian academia have been culprit of such biasedness, is there any proof that Romila Thapar had been doing such mal practices. If you have any evidence then only you have rights to criticize her. But I do not see such allegations against her by you or other over enthusiastic patriots who are posting here. I do not understand how Marxist historian’s interpretation of history stands counter to Vivekananda, Aurobindo or Tagaor’s interpretation of history. I never knew that Vivekananda, Aurobindo or Tagaor were historians and they had some historical methodology which runs counter to Romila Thapar or Marxist historiography. Please enlighten me on their historiography and which specific writings of Marxist historians in general or Romila Thapar in particular had been against Indian civilization, India’s achievements and contributions. Without such specific example what ever you say is biased, half read, ill-informed rant against eminent historians.

          • Tastynut

Biswarup, Let me make a prediction. You are from JNU and you belong to the SFI. That said, if we talk about A History of India by Ms. Thapar it supports the Aryan Invasion Theory and to substantiate it says that Mahabharata was written before Ramayana, which we all know is untrue like the Aryan Invasion Theory. But to prove that the Aryans started off in north India and then ended up conquering the south she has simply twisted facts. Fact is that all the three things are incorrect. The now defunct Aryan Invasion theory was the brain child of the British Historians who wanted to teach the Indians that they have always been ruled by the foreigners. Unfortunate fact is that Ms. Thapar and her likes have done no investigation and justed repeated what the earlier historians with an agenda wrote. But you know that you cannot get a job at JNU if you are not from CPI or CPI (M) or some influence with the Congress. History does not repeat itself but some historians do keep repeating each other.

          • kaimaal38

U have articulated it rather brilliantly.

          • Rici

Congress and left have been continuing with there owm version Vyapam scam at most of institution in India for very very long time.

LOL..its his mis-spelling of “Genre” and not the only thing of doubtful value in his poseur-pseud afflicted posts which seem longer than the C note intro to Pink Floyd’s “wish you were here” 😉

          • ballam

Its already mixed. No doubt we read so much of mughal history rather than reading about the glorious past and the scientific discoveries, and ingrain an inferiority complex for many generations.

          • Narendra

How can we consider her a top historian of ancient India, when she does not know a word of Sanskrit.

          • Sri Aiyer Raju Sreenivasan

Yes. Yes. Romilla says the Somnath Temple is not a Hindu Temple but one of an Arab Goddess “Allat”. That should be enough proof of her made-to-order history manufacturing skills.

          • SRIDHAR

What great historian? Romilla Thapar was one of the two historians whom the congress bestowed with rewriting history text books and the terms of references were clear that nothing should be on record about the Muslim Invasions and muslim attacks on Hindu temples. This was in 1982. You can google for the terms of references by HRD ministry. These are the set of people who taught us that Aryans were invaders means Aryans invaded India! Get your facts correct before posting some nonsense.

          • Raj

She was top coz no oen was let to come on top ……. she remained the esteemed andawarded one bycongress governments for her proximity to the Nehruvian -socialist-communist- anti-hindu gang of folks in academia….

Where except for one? Almost everyone has Congressmen connections.

      • maxwell brigenza

Congress and Foreign Companies own almost 90% of Indian media.. means ALL the news and programs going to be against BJP and others..

    • MSM7

That’s obvious. They were running country for 60 years.During UPA years certain individuals with right wing affiliation tried to start an english news channel. But files got stuck in I&B ministry and there it died a premature death.Until recently print and TV media was heavily govt regulated and nobody could survive by antagonizing the Govt. Those who survived these license raj era were one way or another is close to Congress establishment.

  • Kapil Anand

    Good initiative

Mahendra Mohan Gupta is a Rajyasabha MP from Samajwadi party. That is what I found when I searched for him online. What about the media in north-east? Bengal? Orissa? Kerala? Jammu and Kashmir? Andhra? Please provide more info. Waiting. You are doing a great job. And can you also publish about journalists and editors being given perks for the favourable coverage they do for their political bosses? Like a seat in Rajyasabha? Bungalow in posh areas? Apartments? Or Awards? Or positions in institutions which are directly or indirectly controlled or funded by govt?
    Newslaundry Rocks!!

  • Anita Rego

Would like to know the Shareholders of Newslaundry before I evaluate this news piece. I think that is where transparency starts. Why only select newspaper are considered? How was this selection done? BJP missing?

    • KsanK

News laundry is the first in list. Right at the top. The selection is based on the top media houses.

    • CMS

BJP is not absent. NDTV is very muck BJP – check out the shareholders and their Bios on Wikipedia! Newslaundry must also be BJP as they are spreading lies about the congress. Chai walla chai garam Modi who is playing good guy and letting all his cronies do the dirty work for him. Modi was only amongst hundreds of reps to the UN assembly – a place that congress worked hard to obtain – he did not receive any red-carpet welcome from US or UN officials only from BJP and RSS supporters and funders of Indian origin. Check out the leading newspapers in US and Canada – he is hardly mentioned. So far he has not initiated or changed but has showed up for photo ops for work that was done by UPA and Congress. Wonder who is writing his script and who is mentoring in acting on the stage – Shobna Dey and he has enough actors and actresses to turn to for mentoring – Smriti Irani – since her serial was so popular

      • Guruprasad Nekkare

You seem to be history challenged. Congress worked so hard to get UN representation? Nehru rejected the permanent membership of security council and gave it to China! (WTF) Read Natwar Singh’s book. UPA schemes! Modi taking credit? Are you serious?

  • harshal

whole media is sold out to BJP ..
    simple examples:
1)Modi’s speech are shown on every channel…AD-FREE seamlessly..why dont for AK .
2)yesterday Kejrival came to Guajarat.and asked 16 questions.ONly Gujarat Samachar published that.Divybhaskar’s tital was “modi e AK ne samay na apyo malva(Modi didnt gave kejrival time to meet) and also wrote that “people of gujarat didnt welcome hi, at all” but the fact on base is that so much crowd gathered around him..
3)on the day Kejrival resigned as cheif minister: rajasthan patrika’s headline was”Kejrival delhi ki janta ko ullu banake bhage”!!!
BUT rays of hope everywhere.BBC’s headline was “Reformist cheif minister kejrival resigned as he couldnt give lokpal bill”

    • Bharath

its disgusting to compare modi with Kejri…Kejri is a 49 days CM…and Modi is a 12 years CM of Gujarat…My question is how did kejri became so popular in 1 year…he bribed people and worked on a day an agitation…all channels backed him..if there is no media then ther is no kejriwal…he didnt do ANYTHNG DURING HIS 49 DAYS TENURE…sorry!! he started to protest just to remove two constables and succeeded in that protest

  • Tushar Patel

There are certain traders of media.

    1. Hindustan Times – Shobhna Bhartia, owner and editor-in-chief of Hindustan Times is a Congress MP from Rajya Sabha.

    2. Vinod Sharma, HT Political Affairs editor, is essentially a Congress spokesman on all TV panel discussions, because once his boss’ term gets over, he will be looking out for her RS seat next

    3. Barkha Dutt and Vir Sanghvi, famous Congress stooges (and intermediaries for UPA allies) who were exposed in the Radiagate scandal, and are virtual Congress spokespersons in their capacities as electronic media personalities, are the ones who write opinion and op-ed columns most frequently (once every week) on the editorial pages of HT. In return, Barkha and Sanghvi are rewarded with Padma Shris and other monetary compensation by the Nehru dynasty or Congress party.

    4. NDTV’s promoters are Prannoy Roy and Radhika Roy. Radhika’s sister Brinda Karat is a famous CPM leader (well known for anti-Baba Ramdev views) and Brinda’s husband Prakash Karat is the CPM Politburo General Secretary (well known for preferring Congress over BJP). And Prannoy Roy’s first cousin is the famous far-leftist pro-Maoist-Naxalite pro-Kashmiri-terrorists “intellectual” Arundhati Suzanna Roy.

    5. NDTV’s Barkha Dutt’s reality has already been exposed by me in above section.

    6. NDTV’s Sonia Singh is the wife of Uttar Pradesh Congress MP, Union minister and ex-princely state ruler, Mr. R. P. N. Singh, who is one of the fastest rising stars in the Congress party. If you remember, Sonia Singh is a very high-profile anchor on NDTV whose pro-Congress anti-BJP bias is legendary.

    7. NDTV’s Nidhi Razdan (high-profile anchor of Left Right Centre) is the current girlfriend of J&K CM Omar Abdullah (after Omar recently divorced his wife of several years and mother of his two children, Payal). Nidhi Razdan is also famous for her legendary pro-Congress and anti-BJP bias.

    8. CNN-IBN : Rajdeep Sardesai’s wife and co-promoter of CNN-IBN, Sagarika Ghose, who anchors Face the Nation and is famous journalist of CNN-IBN (well, her hubby is the owner-editor-in-chief after all) are famous Congress stooges.

    9. Sagarika’s father Bhaskar Ghose was a famous sarkari babu and was made the chief of Prasar Bharati (Doordarshan) during Indira and Rajiv regimes. Bhaskar Ghose was well-known for personal loyalty to the Nehru dynasty, and now his daughter and son-in-law are rewarded with their own channel to do Congress propaganda.

    10. In fact Sagarika’s extended family even consists of her aunts Ruma Pal (former Supreme Court justice and a close friend of the Nehru family) and Arundhati Ghose (former diplomat and Indian ambassador to various countries, predictably, under Congress regimes).

    12. The HIndu – The Worst – N. Ram, owner and editor-in-chief (till February 2012) of The Hindu, was once a vice president of the Students Federation of India. SFI is the students’ wing of the CPM.

    13. P. Sainath of the The Hindu (acclaimed journalist well known for his, again, unsurprisingly, typical left-wing Nehruvian communism ideology), is the nephew of Congress politician V. Shankar Giri and the grandson of V. V. Giri, ex-President of India and famous Congress politician. Giri was especially known to be one of the first few staunch loyalists of Indira, and whom Indira fielded for President elections against her own party’s Neelam Sanjeeva Reddy, and who ultimately became the cause of the first high-profile split in the Indian National Congress into Congress (O) and Congress (I) — almost all the pre-independence regional stalwarts split away to join Congress (O) or form their own state parties, and the rest including Giri (all the loyalists of the Nehru family staying on with Indira).

    14. Or even what about little known News24 Hindi media channel? Owned by ex-journalist and editor Rajiv Shukla, famous Congress MP in Rajya Sabha, Union minister, industrialist, BCCI vice president and IPL chairman.

    15. Or even what about little known Lokmat (and IBN Lokmat) that is Marathi newspaper (and channel) in Maharashtra? Owner and editors-in-chief are the brothers Vijay Darda (Congress MP) and Rajendra Darda (Congress MLA in Maharashtra, and minister in state govt).

    16. Or even the other bigger and smaller media houses, such as The Times of India and Indian Express, where the Nehru dynasty has managed to infiltrate its loyalists such as Dileep Padgaonkar and Shekhar Gupta, who are essentially paid stooges of the Congress party.

17 Vinod Mehta – Outlook editor has been well known to take anti BJP stand.

The Congress (in fact just the one single family — the Nehru dynasty) has been in power for 56 of the last 65 years of independence. This matters a LOT. Personal relationships have been built, blackmail-worthy secrets have been spied, monumental wealth has been accumulated … all by the one single Nehru dynasty (and its family-business-cum-polit ical-party aka Congress) that helps it maintain its tight irongrip over not just the entire Indian mainstream media, but also deep into our bureaucracy, our governmental institutions, and even our journalism and mass media colleges and grad schools.

We have probably not even scratched the surface of the network of family and personal relationships through which the Nehru dynasty has completely dominated and controlled the entire intellectual, historian and journalist landscape of India. And we haven’t even talked about the monumental wealth or the blackmailing secrets. All because the one single dynasty got to rule over India for 60 years uninterrupted. It matters a LOT.

The typical JNU Nehruvian communist left-libbers ideologues have really perpetrated some kind of stranglehold on India’s journalism, media and intellectual space.

Almost all pro-BJP (or even centre-right ideologues) journalists have been slowly thrown out of their jobs due to pressure from the Congress and the Nehru family.

Even the great venerable Ramnath Goenka, frustrated and broken by repeated I-T raids and ED investigations ultimately had to fire Arun Shourie twice from the Indian Express, which was once the best Indian newspaper in the 1970s and 80s. That was the team — Goenka the owner, Shourie the editor, and S. Gurumurthy the fearless journalist, that brought political heavyweights like Indira Gandhi down on her knees and even took on corporate honchos like Dhirubhai Ambani. (Ramnath Goenka inspired the Mithun Chakraborty character and S. Gurumurthy inspired the R. Madhavan character in the Ambani biopic “Guru”.)

But very few centre-right ideologues are left in India’s media space today, that too in minor publications like The Pioneer. Almost all the mainstream media houses have been thoroughly infiltrated and coerced into towing the Congress’ line, sometimes just through ideology and relationships, and not even money power.

The Congress party essentially owns and controls every single mainstream media house in India, including Hindustan Times, The Times of India, NDTV, CNN-IBN, The Hindu, Tehelka, Outlook, etc”

Let us see the ownership of different media agencies.

NDTV: A very popular TV news media is funded by Gospels of Charity in Spain Supports Communism. Recently it has developed a soft corner towards Pakistan because Pakistan President has allowed only this channel to be aired in Pakistan. Indian CEO Prannoy Roy is co-brother of Prakash Karat, General Secretary of the Communist party of India . His wife and Brinda Karat are sisters.

India Today: Which used to be the only national weekly which supported BJP is now bought by NDTV!! Since then the tone has changed drastically and turned into Hindu bashing.

CNN-IBN: This is 100 percent funded by Southern Baptist Church with its branches in all over the world with HQ in US.. The Church annually allocates $800 million for promotion of its channel. Its Indian head is Rajdeep Sardesai and his wife Sagarika Ghosh.

    Times group list:

Times Of India, Mid-Day, Nav-Bharat Times, Stardust, Femina, Vijay Times, Vijaya Karnataka, Times Now (24- hour news channel) and many more…
Times Group is owned by Bennet & Coleman. ‘World Christian Council’ does 80 percent of the Funding, and an Englishman and an Italian equally share balance 20 percent. The Italian Robertio Mindo is a close relative of Sonia Gandhi.

Star TV: It is run by an Australian, who is supported by St. Peters Pontifical Church Melbourne.

Hindustan Times: Owned by Birla Group, but hands have changed since Shobana Bhartiya took over. Presently it is working in Collaboration with Times Group.

The Hindu: English daily, started over 125 years has been recently taken over by Joshua Society, Berne , Switzerland .. N. Ram’s wife is a Swiss national.

Indian Express: Divided into two groups.
The Indian Express and new Indian Express (southern edition) ACTS Christian Ministries have major stake in the Indian Express and latter is still with the Indian counterpart.

Eeenadu: Still to date controlled by an Indian named Ramoji Rao. Ramoji Rao is connected with film industry and owns a huge studio in Andhra Pradesh.
Andhra Jyothi: The Muslim party of Hyderabad known as MIM along with a Congress Minister has purchased this Telugu daily very recently.

The Statesman: It is controlled by Communist Party of India.

Kairali TV: It is controlled by Communist party of India (Marxist)

Mathrubhoomi: Leaders of Muslim League and Communist leaders have major investment.

Asian Age and Deccan Chronicle: It is owned by a Saudi Arabian Company with its chief Editor M.J. Akbar.

Gujarat riots which took place in 2002 where Hindus were burnt alive, Rajdeep Sardesai and Bharkha Dutt working for NDTV at that time got around 5 Million Dollars from Saudi Arabia to cover only Muslim victims, which they did very faithfully… Not a single Hindu family was interviewed or shown on TV whose near and dear ones had been burnt alive in Godra, it is reported.

Tarun Tejpal of Tehelka gets blank cheques from Arab countries to target BJP and Hindus only, it is said.

The ownership explains the control of media in India by foreigners. The result is obvious.

What an awesome piece, one of the best piece I have read in a long long time! Religion controls World order and especially institutionalized religion does the best! This is an expose all Indians must be aware of! Lopsided reporting will only harm the nation and the best way to belt down these insects is not to watch any news channel! Rely on newspapers you trust instead! That’s the only way out from this treacherous quagmire!

I request your permission to publish this piece in my blog, I assure your credentials will be aptly notified!

Let us look at some of these Media Agencies in India.

    · NDTV “- is said to be one of the most popular tv news media but it is run by Spanish based Gospel of Charity. The same Charity is supporting Musharaff of Pakistan and also controls the newspaper INDIA TODAY. There
are also allegations against NDTV bias related to the 2002 Gujarat
riots accusing NDTV famous lady anchor and another said to have been
given $5m by Saudis to cover only Muslim victims and Hindu families were
not interviewed or shown on NDTV.

    · Then there is CNN-IBN which is fully funded by the Southern Baptist Church in USA. The Church annually allocates $800 million (about 4000 crores) for promotion of its channel while India”‘s National parties (Cong, BJP) are said to spend about 600-700 crores in a general election. This channel coined the term “…”Hindu terrorism”‚ / “…”Hindu bombs”‚

The Times Group companies comprise of : Times
Of India, Mid-Day, Nav-Bharth Times, Stardust, Femina, Vijay Times,
Vijaya Karnataka, Times now (24- hour news channel) and many
more”‚¦(print and electronic) Yet the Times Group too is owned by
Bennet & Coleman. “‘World Christian Council does 80% of the funding,
and an Englishman and an Italian equally share balance 20 percent. The
Italian Robertio Mindo is a close relative of Sonia Gandhi. The Times Group has also bought over Hindustan Times and has control over several other newspapers of the group.

We next come to STAR TV which again is controlled and funded by the Australian Robert Murdoch and supported by St. Peters pontification Church in Melbourne.

The HINDU newspaper that we are all familiar with was recently taken over by Josua Society, Berne Switzerland and the editors wife is Swiss too.

The Indian Express was divided into Indian Express (North India) and New Indian Express (South India) Indian Express is controlled and funded by ACTS Christian Ministries though the New Indian Express remains under Indian ownership.

The Asian Age and the Deccan Chronicle are both owned by a Saudi Arabian company.

HINDUSTAN TIMES is owned by the Birla
Group but of late it is working with the Times Group. Hindustan Times
and the Times of India are bitter rivals in media warfare!

The Statesman and Kairali TV are however controlled and owned by the Communist Party of India.

Eeenadu remains controlled by an Indian – Ramoji Rao who is also associated with the film industry/Andhra Pradesh.

The Statesman is controlled by the
Communist Party of India while Kairali TV, kerala is controlled by the
    Communist Party of India (Marxist)

Nobody wants to displease the king, “Rex non potest piccare”, as the saying goes, especially if it was a bigot Nehru-Gandhi family who never saw poverty. Nehru grew very arrogant after Gandhiji gave him full support. Soon after independence, to the bad luck of India especially 4 its majority community, Nehru’s rise turned out to b a curse. It has taken the majority to come off its slumber about seven decades. During this period, Sonia’s rise has been a true curse. Unless the majooority exerts its right, rise oof Abrahamics spells doom 2 them. Hence controlling the media and active participation in politics is very essential. Votes r d only tool that scares the politicians.

‘Media loves criminals’, I made a gentle reference to Rajdeep Sardesai (RS) defendingDawood Ibrahim as a ‘patriot’. The reference came up in the post on how and why media promotes criminals and over the recent issue of Javed Miandad being a given a visa to visit India. Naturally, Rajdeep who discussed the issue on CNN-IBN with as much vigour as anybody else didn’t expect that his defence of Dawood as a ‘patriot’ would come up somewhere. Rajdeep, like all media amnesiacs thought no one would remember his Dawood connection. Fail! It started on Twitter with a quote from Swapan Dasgupta’s blog (see image). Not only does SwapanD record Rajdeep defending Dawood as a patriot he also mentions that Rajdeep was defending Dawood against “nasty saffronites”. Hmm! Saffron! The colour that Rajdeep and his Fiberal community hate. SwapanD also writes about the “editorial savagery” that greeted any links of ISI and Dawood with the Bombay blasts. Mind you, he isn’t recalling it as an observer; he is recalling it as an ‘insider’ who worked with TOI then. So when this ugly blast from the past came back to haunt Rajdeep he quickly tangled himself in a flurry of devious tweets and danced on burning coals.

The anti-nationals and the pseudo-seculars have strived for decades to tar almost every Hindu symbol as an act of shame. Morons have responded to such idiots by appeasing them in the hope they will get greater support for their cause, whatever the cause may be. After the Delhi Gangrape incident some of these appeasers have regularly been on TV talking about safety of women, concerns for law and order and so on. Someone currently holidaying in London wants to finish off Hindus in 15 minutes. Page-3 activists like Nafisa Ali even equated an elected CM with Ajmal Kasab. That was onNDTV, the channel that loves patriots like Musharraf and Imran Khan. I wonder how long it will be before someone comes up with the “Idea of India” where Ajmal Kasab too is was a closet Hindu. Remember Anna Hazare’s Lokpal fasts in August 2011? One of the first things they tore down to appease “seculars” was a poster of Bharat Mata. Kiran Bedi & team were at the feet of that Syed Bukhari begging him for support. An Ex-Police Officer I respect, Kiran Bedi seems to have forgotten Bukhari had an arrest warrant pending on him since 2001. It seems Delhi police didn’t have the courage to arrest him. Kiran Bedi is never short on words for enforcement of law. They showed much respect for “Bharat Ma”, didn’t they?

The same hypocrisy exists in the commie outfit called “The Hindu” whose editor, S. Varadarajan, is an American and hasn’t exactly shown his paper’s name means anything remotely connected with Hindus. So Varadabhai, as I fondly call him, hires a journalistic-psychopath called Sanjay Srivastava to heap more trash on Hindu practices. If it were mere criticism, that could pass. But this psychopath writes in connection with the Delhi Gangrape: “Taking the aggression out of masculinity” which starts with the sub-line: “TheIndian family has been a long-standing site for reinforcing and perpetuating male privilege and entitlement”. Indian family? Okay! But that ends there and suddenly turns to Hindus alone and, like many fools before, he trashes Hindu practices. So let’s accept that by the logic of ‘The Hindu’ that Indian simply and definitely means “Hindus”. Who’s gonna complain about that? The rest of it is nothing but another foolish rant but surprisingly brings up Swami Vivekananda’s “pose” as the symbol of this “masculinity”. He says: “Swami Vivekananda’s masculine photographic-pose was only one aspect of the cult of masculinity encouraged and tolerated by nationalism”. Huh? On their website this pic of Swami Vivekananda keeps flashing on and off.

  • India First

So Indian family –>Hindus –>Swami Vivekananda’s pose–> Masculinity–>Therefore rapes. QED! Damn! This was so simple and we didn’t get it all these centuries. But hang on! This Srivastava has got a serious point. I’m not kidding. In a previous post I mentioned that in2010 rapes in the USA were highest at 84767 so I decided to check out Srivastava’s theory.

I am truly stunned. You can see Abraham Lincoln striking the same pose as the Swami. So it’s fair to imply Lincoln’s masculinity inspires rapes in the US. I was wrong though, as someone pointed out that on the same page I have linked, South Africa has the highest rapes at 277,012. Oh hell! I had to check all over again. But there you are! Nelson Mandela has the same pose as the Swami. But hold your breath! While searching for these I also foundKaran Thapar in the same pose for his programme on CNN-IBN. So by Srivastava’s logic Karan Thapar’s “masculinity” is a serious threat at CNN-IBN or where ever he works.

Out of sheer curiosity I also checked out the pics of Varadabhai and Srivastava. The similarity is striking, eh? So, next time you cross your arms across your chest be careful. You could be termed “masculine” and a “motive” or “inspiration” for rapists. Now, some have tried to demolish the foolishness of Sanjay Srivastava and ‘The Hindu’ with truth and logic. But hey, if logic and truth mattered at all would these people write such foolish articles in the first place? If logic and truth mattered would Rajdeep have defended Dawood as a “patriot”? Truth, facts and logic don’t inspire them. What unites these commie “sickulars” is their uniform and consistent hatred of Hindu culture and practices. Nothing complicated. Rajdeep’s deputy even hates seeing Saffron in our National Flag; she calls it “Orange”. You know, I’m starting to believe that survey that suggestsjournalism does attract psychopaths; with their hatred and twisted sense of patriotism.

Indian mainstream media is the worst form of hooliganism and collective madness . And this happens only in india .They ape the western media in many aspects but not in their patriotism ( towards their country ) . Many of the media houses in the world ( and including in countries like Pakistan and china and not just Europe and Us ) are generally patriots and place their national interest first . Here ( in india ) we have mainstream media competing with one another to project India and Indians in bad light ; and especially hindus in bad light .
Imagine where else can a paper named ‘the Hindu’ be so anti-Hindu ????
what all these ‘psychopaths’ have collectively forgotten is that the present day Hindustan was meant for Hindus . Even at that time( during partition) a few sikulars and pseudos tricked the laidback, lethargic , foolish Hindus into being gracious and allowing Muslims too to continue in Hindustan . And muslims being muslims first and then indians , have multiplied and increased their ghettos and bargaining power ( the indian census be damned . the muslim population in india now would be nothing less than 30 crores and with porous borders and nincompoops in parliament and public life – not sure what we are heading towards ) And the classic story of the ‘camel taking over the tent’ is happening and these psychopaths ( journalists , Indian pseudos , Marxists , congress sycophants ) continue to laud the camel and justify its right even as the mahout ( Hindus) get overrun/overwhelmed .
The only solution is have these psychopaths and scourge on Indian society locked up in mental asylums ( where they deserve to be ) and police lockups ( calling a most wanted terrorist a ‘patriot’ is equivalent to ‘abetting terrorism’ , insult to indian soldiers and policemen that have laid down lives in the call of duty and can be deemed as ‘crime against national interests’) . Is any Hindu lawyer listening and willing to pick up the gauntlet ????

  • Tejpal

Mass media are a Western concept and is mostly owned by them either by money from two major sources of funds in the world. One is Vatican Bank and the other one is petro dollar of Saudi Arabia. Vatican funds about half a dozen news magazines and funds lot more achieving their economical control. It’s obvious that both sources are unsympathetic twards Hindus and their stress is liable to anti Hindu bias. This is seen grotesquely in the case of Narendra Modi/BJP that are linked to Hindus. Hence they run an incessant anti Hindu tirade to defame them. This strategy has two fold effect. One, the Hindus can be exploited economically with impunity. Second, Hindus can be easily converted into their religion by demoralising them.
In both events, defamation by mass media campaign helps the Christian and Islamic nations to exploit Hindus who are least aware of such international agendas.

Subject: colrpc-choice:4927) Fwd: OROP – TOI

As the discerning would have noticed, the recent new found interest and urgency of some media houses in opposing ‘concept’ of OROP (mind you, its implementation of OROP that is held up, not its ‘approval’. OROP ALREADY stands approved) is reminiscent of a similar exercise to criticize and condemn Gen VK Singh during his Date of Birth controversy some years ago. Predictable behavior of our Bureaucracy/ Politico combine. There seems nothing original that our establishment can think of- judicious transparent discussions are unheard part of our governance process.

Sadly some media houses are only too willing to support the GoIs irresponsible thrusts. The lucrative Ad budget perhaps is a strong pull.

Times of India has recently joined the Government’s team, tasked to do this ‘Anti OROP’ exercise. Some articles, including a Front Page coverage have appeared on Two consecutive days. Wow ! Reminds one of the Four Day Four Part Editorial Blitz in a North India Paper some years ago on Gen VK Singh’s DOB controversy. One has to be dumb not to identify the malicious pattern.

TOI has gone berserk in the effort, preaching nationalism to veterans-the ONLY community that does not need the ‘Bhashan’. Irony is that just some years ago, TOI used to oppose the Republic Day Parade in Delhi, year on year. Yuck!

While the GoI’s pattern has been predictable, we veterans are perplexed at a paper of TOI’s standing to so conveniently sell their soul, even doing a U Turn on their own commentary in the recent past. Please see mail in trail, addressed to TOI by Brig Sharad Luktuke, Convener IESM Maharashtra.

    Subject: OROP – TOI

    Dear Mr. Nalin Mehta,

The Ex Service Men who read the ‘Times View’ on page 13 of TOI 29 Aug 2015 were quite shocked.

All along the TOI has been writing very objectively about OROP and projecting the factual picture of the concept.

In your well researched article ‘Pension Promise in Peril ‘ of 14 Dec 2014, in the concluding para (Soldiers Vs Civilians) you have nicely explained the disparity in salary, career progression, benefit of NFU to civilians, retirement age difference etc. It is true that the babus are thwarting PM Modi’s poll pledge of OROP by inflating cost estimates. Overbearing bureaucrats are constantly confusing the Govt to some how abnormally delay the decision making and finally deny OROP.

On the center page on TOI 16 Jun 2015, in your article ‘The Soldier’s Right’ you have rightly observed ‘ Whatever the final number (of cost of OROP), it is much more than Rs. 1,000 crore that the FM Arun Jaitley allocated to OROP in his 1014-15 budget. Even so, for a country of an annual defence budget of Rs. 2,20,000. crore and which relies so much on its soldiers, we should be willing to bear this.’

The editorial of TOI 17 Aug 2015 ‘ Fulfill This Promise ‘firmly concludes ‘ Given that Modi has reiterated his commitment to OROP, he must now lend his full political weight to make it a reality.’ In the same edition your article ‘BJP and the Soldier’ amply brings out how serious the situation is. The BJP leaders and even RM & PM have made promises several times but there is no action to implement OROP.

On 29 Aug 2015, TOI in ‘ Times View ‘ you suddenly take a 180-degree turn and state ‘ And as people ….they (Ex Service Men) must realize that their OROP demand is simply not feasible …. ‘ and even go to the extent of calling them irresponsible. This totally contradicts TOI’s own view of 16 & 17 Aug 2015.

TOI must investigate what is it that compelled them in 12 days to change their view so dramatically. I wonder whether the facts and figures have been ascertained by TOI before coming to such a hasty conclusion. Just to touch upon one point, out of the total defence pension budget of Rs. 54,000. crore, about Rs. 32,000. crore (59%) is consumed by four lac civilian pensioners of Defence department and 22,000. crore (41%) is for 25 lac Ex Service Men and 5 lac widows.

Why is TOI confused about its stand on OROP even at this stage?
