Even watching is forbidden: I&B Ministry does not allow screening of beef documentary

Caste on the Menu Card, a documentary on beef consumption in Mumbai, was to be screened on October 31, at a film festival in Delhi which was organised by Centre for Civil Society. However, the film was refused an exemption certificate, which is necessary for public screening “as it might inflame sentiments” in the current political climate, said I&B Ministry.
