The media must be free and fair, uninfluenced by corporate or state interests. That's why you, the public, need to pay to keep news free.

Hafta has been an integral part of my Saturday morning. I keep it on while relishing self-cooked breakfast in the morning. Whenever I don’t get to listening to it on Saturday, I feel like missing something as if someone has taken away a cookie for my tea. I would like to thank you for expanding my sources of information through recommendations during Hafta, which essentially keeps me busy in the afternoon.

I enjoy Hafta for the casual way of conversing serious and petty news and opinions. This approach is starkly different from nasty journalism happening on TV. I am indeed looking forward listening to a new podcast on policy analysis announced in NL-68.

Nikku mentioned five pieces shared by Madhu to him. I understand not all may be relevant in Hafta’s context. I could not contain my curiosity to have a look at the contents of these links. Please share if you can.

A sincere well-wisher

Power NL-TNM Election Fund

General elections are around the corner, and Newslaundry and The News Minute have ambitious plans together to focus on the issues that really matter to the voter. From political funding to battleground states, media coverage to 10 years of Modi, choose a project you would like to support and power our journalism.

Ground reportage is central to public interest journalism. Only readers like you can make it possible. Will you?
