Explained: The fight for Siachen Glacier
India lost 10 more soldiers in an avalanche last week in one of most inhospitable battlefields in the world. A look at the 3-decade old dispute to keep control of the Siachen Glacier.
The Siachen Glacier is located in the eastern Karakoram range in the Himalaya Mountains, just northeast of the point where the Line of Control between India and Pakistan ends.
