Now, an FB page attacking Mayawati
When it comes to social media networks, you don’t quite expect it to raise the bar of political discourse. Even so, a Facebook page that has been attacking Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) chief Mayawati with misogynist remarks has introduced new lows to party rivalry. Not points for guessing which party the user of the Facebook page supports.
Named Rajputana Siddharth Nagar, the profile has about 1500 friends, mainly BJP and Yogi Adityanath supporters, from what you can make out from the profiles.
This is its cover picture.
This profile, which probably uses a pseudonym, posted a couple of derogatory posts against Mayawati, questioning her character.
On July 22, on the timeline of this profile, a picture of armed people was posted accompanying a long status update, which has now been pulled down.
The user in its posts questions Mayawati’s marital status. The post also contains offensive words directed at her. It also refers to Sher Singh Rana who murdered Phoolan Devi and reminds Mayawati of similar fate.
BJP supporters, keeping it classy as always.
