Rudy ‘eyes’ Army wives and daughters? Oops
Yesterday, it was the Mumbai Mirror with its tacky headline, today you have The Week taking clickbait to a new level.
Read the headline and then focus on Rudy’s kala chashma.
All our dear minister was doing was inaugurating the first Army Skill Training Centre (ASTC) at the Delhi Cantonment. Now, a minister or a politician “eyeing something” is a standard phrase headline writers use anytime they announce a new policy initiative. Check out the search results for the phrase “minister eyes”.
The Week’s headline writer was probably just going with the standard phrase to highlight a new policy initiative that involves Army wives and wards, except in this case it leads you to believe that Rudy had designs on them. In times of clickbait, may be that was the intention.
