Rahul Gandhi, on September 2, 2013 – in a bid to ensure more representativeness and eliminate the culture of dynastic politics from the Congress – came up with a mandatory five-page application form for candidates who wanted a ticket to contest elections on a Congress ticket. Newslaundry got its hands on the first draft of the form.
