How Indian journos reacted to #SurgicalStrike
Early today Director General of Military Operations Lt Gen Ranbir Singh announced that the Indian Army carried out surgical strikes on terror launchpads along the Line of Control. Stuff that TRP wet dreams are made of.
While the DGMO was measured in his statement and emphasised the importance of fighting terror in the region, it was frenzy time for some Indian journalists on Twitter, which carried on pretty seamless to TV studios. (Times Now actually compared this to the Myanmar strike.)

Some decided though that a little skepticism was in order.
Others pointed at how this was probably the first time an action like this was accompanied by media bluster.
