Why So Serious? Ep 26 – The Falsehood of Triple Talaq

With a constitutional bench of the Supreme Court now set to hear the contentious issue of “Triple Talaq” in May – temperatures are rising! The All India Muslim Personal Law Board told the Supreme Court that if triple talaq was declared illegal, it would be tantamount to rewriting the Quran. We examine if that is really the case and maybe the law itself goes against the basic tenets of Islam.
