The many houses of Lalu Prasad Yadav
Lalu Prasad Yadav, the former chief minister of Bihar, is being investigated by the Central Bureau of Investigation. The agency has alleged that Yadav and his family including his wife Rabri Devi and son Tejaswi, who is currently serving as Bihar’s deputy chief minister, received two acres of prime property in Patna in exchange for granting a contract for two railway hotels to a private company.
The investigating agency registered an FIR on July 7, listing assets owned by Yadav and his family. The FIR can get a little complicated, here is a neat little infographic of all the properties attached by the Income Tax Department.
