Jagga Jasoos actor kills herself in Gurgaon

A 27-year-old advertising and acting professional, Bidisha Bezbaruah, was found hanging from a ceiling fan in her apartment in Gurgaon’s Sector 43 on Monday evening.

The police have arrested Bezbaruah’s husband, Nisheeth Jha, in relation to the suicide, which came to light on Tuesday. The body was discovered after the broker broke into the house on the husband’s instructions because Bezbaruah was not taking calls.

While a case has been registered under Section 306 of the Indian Penal Code, the victim’s father has alleged that “marital discord” was the cause of her death.

Bezbaruah was part of the recently released Jagga Jasoos.
