Baba Ramdev to make Hindi film debut
Yoga, the founding of a successful business enterprise in Patanjali and, now, a Bollywood turn. Baba Ramdev looks to be on his long march. Now, the yoga guru is all set to make his Bollywood debut with the movie, Yeh Hai India, and wait for it, he will feature in the song Saiyan Saiyan. The yoga guru will also be involved in promoting the movie.
Due for release on August 18, the film has been written and directed by Lom Harsh and features Gavie Chahal and Deana Uppal as its lead pair. Ramdev is said to have been impressed with the movie’s concept and decided to support the film.
“The country, which has a population of millions, a country where the Vedas were discovered; few people around the world have a wrong perspective about this country. India is no more (just) a country of snake (charmers), it has advanced,” Ramdev was quoted as saying by Business Standard.
He adds, “India has the capability to lead the entire world. This change in the picture of India has been showcased in Yeh Hai India. Hence after a lot of thinking I’ve taken a decision to strongly support this film and I also expect every citizen of India to support such films.”
