DU Students’ Union polls: Parties kick off 2017 campaign with campus rallies
Ahead of the Delhi University Students’ Union (DUSU) election, student outfits, including AISA, ABVP, NSUI and SFI, have kicked off their election campaigns with massive rallies announcing the issues that concern students. While ABVP’s focus remains on lack of hostels, metro and bus pass concessions for students, AISA, SFI and NSUI have come up with women-related issues and a violence-free DU motto. Parties also have other set of demands which are mentioned in their respective manifestos. However, the question remains is whether this will be the year any of these issues get resolved.
