Delhi Police to file chargesheet against Arvind Kejriwal, Manish Sisodia in Chief Secy assault case: Reports
Delhi Police is all set to give a big jolt to the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and its top leadership. According to media reports, the police is likely to file a chargesheet in Delhi Chief Secretary Anshu Prakash assault case naming Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and his deputy Manish Sisodia.
Attributing to sources, the reports say that the police have booked Kejriwal and Sisodia under the charges of criminal conspiracy. The chargesheet is to be filed in the court soon.
Prakash was allegedly assaulted by two AAP lawmakers at CM’s residence during a meeting on February 19. Following this, AAP Members of Legislative Assembly Amanatullah Khan and Prakash Jarwal were arrested by the police.
Earlier, Delhi police had questioned Kejriwal for three hours and had searched his official residence on two occasions in connection to the assault case.
AAP is yet to react to the news reports that suggest Kejriwal and Sisodia have been booked under the charges of criminal conspiracy.
