#IndianAirForce sources say it struck major terror camp across LoC, Indian defence ministry spokesperson says ‘no information’

Reports have emerged that at 3.30 am today, India’s Mirage 2000 Indian Fighter jets struck a terrorist camp across the Line Of Control.

ANI also quoted IAF sources as saying “1,000 Kg bombs were dropped on terror camps across the LoC.” It said the IAF has “put on high alert all air defence systems along the international border and LoC “.

Hindustan Times quoted intelligence sources as saying that the Indian Air Force jets struck a Jaish-e-Mohammed terror camp across the Line of Cross in Balakot, Khyber Pakhtoonkhwa. The sources said the air force “used Mirage-2000 jets with laser-guided bombs causing an estimated casualty of 200-300”. DNA said IAF sources revealed that a dozen fighter jets were involved in the operation.

Major General Asif Ghafoor, spokesperson for the Pakistan Armed Forces, posted on Twitter that Indian aircrafts had “intruded”.

However, the Indian defence ministry said it had no information about Pakistani allegations that Indian aircraft violated Pakistani airspace. According to Reuters, a spokesperson for the ministry said: “I have no information.”
