Rahul Gandhi’s Delhi rally: In conversation with voters
On Monday, May 6, Congress president Rahul Gandhi addressed a public meeting in Delhi’s Sadar Bazaar. The locality comes under the city’s Chandni Chowk constituency, which the BJP pocketed in 2014 with a margin of more than one lakh votes. Gandhi’s aggressive speech touched upon issues like the jobs crisis, GST, his party’s NYAY scheme, and more. However, he barely had any time to interact directly with the locals in attendance.
Newslaundry correspondent Ayush Tiwari spoke to some of them about the local and national problems that concern them.
