Journalists heckle postman: ‘Why did you demolish Kangana's office?’
Heckling on TV news channels has left the studio and reached the ground. On Wednesday morning, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation demolished allegedly illegal structures at actor Kangana Ranaut’s Mumbai office in Pali Hill.
Restless reporters sprinted to the location. They did not leave any stone unturned to snatch away a scoop from rival channels. This meant that even a hapless postman was not spared.
News18 India broadcast visuals of reporters from their channel, ABP News and Republic TV, among others, rushing to a postman and heckling him as he arrived outside the actor’s office.
“Why did you demolish it? What did Kangana do?” yelled one woman, later identified as Pushpa from Kurla.
“Main postman hun!” the man replied, as Republic TV’s Pradeep Bhandari reached out for the postman’s deliveries. “All of Republic is asking: aap kya lekar aaye hai?” asked a frantic Pradeep.
Pushpa threw a loud curveball: “All of you are coming together to target ladies!”
“Arre madam, postman hai main!” the man declared, rather hopelessly. He then stopped, turned around and left. Watch it for yourself:
