Covid has killed 64 journalists in India since last April
At least 64 journalists in India have lost their lives to Covid since April 2020, according to data gathered by Rate The Debate Campaign, launched by the Institute of Perception Studies, Delhi.
Five states account for most of the deaths – Uttar Pradesh, Telangana, Maharashtra, Delhi, and Andhra Pradesh.
Thirty one have died in the first four months of this year alone. On average, a journalist has died every day in April 2021 so far.
