In a dramatic turn of events, the Income Tax department landed up at Newslaundry's doorstep two weeks ago for a 'survey'. The notice revealed that this was done under Section 133A of the Income Tax Act.

In this episode, we tell you the laws that allow the IT department to do 'surveys' and 'searches', and the rights of those being surveyed and searched. Watch.
