The Awful and Awesome
Awful and Awesome Ep 236: Minnal Murali, The Lost Daughter, Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui
Talking about Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui and whether a trans actor should have been cast to play Maanvi:
Rajyasree: The whole concept of acting is that you play something which you are not. Say I have a film which is on karate...
Abhinandan: So they should cast you as a person who is nice, who is a good person. That would be a challenge.
Rajyasree: That would be acting, right?
Abhinandan: That would be a big challenge. Like if they cast you as a horrible obnoxious woman, then what’s the challenge?
Rajyasree: Don't act smart, okay.
Abhinandan and Rajyasree burst out laughing.
This and a whole lot of other stuff awful and awesome as Abhinandan Sekhri and Rajyasree Sen review the films Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui, The Lost Daughter and Minnal Murali.
