Sansad TV's YouTube channel 'compromised', name changed to Ethereum
Sansad TV's YouTube channel was "compromised" at 1 am today by "scamsters" who changed the channel's name to "Ethereum", a cryptocurrency.
This is weeks after the I&B ministry's Twitter handle was briefly hacked with Elon Musk's name and Narendra Modi's Twitter account was hacked with Bitcoin posts.
In a statement, Sansad TV said its livestream on YouTube had also been impacted and was restored at 3.45 am.
Shortly before the statement was issued, PTI had reported that Sansad TV's YouTube account had been "terminated" for "allegedly violating YouTube's community guidelines". Screenshots of the channel uploaded on Reddit showed the channel's name changed to Ethereum.
Sansad TV was formed last year after merging Lok Sabha TV and Rajya Sabha TV.
