TMR: Disinformation and the Ukrainian War
Russia invaded Ukraine on February 24 this year. But the military engagement wasn’t the only war taking place. A sophisticated information war was playing out as well. Madeline Roache, managing editor of NewsGuard, Jakub Parusinski, CEO of Kyiv Independent, and Krishn Kaushik, South Asia editor of Organized Crime and Corruption Reporting Project, join HR Venkatesh, from Boom FactCheck, to talk about the magnitude of disinformation around the war and how it shaped perceptions of the war.
