Newsance 194: India-China border clash and why it’s all Nehru's fault
TV Newsance is back after a break! And guess what, nothing much has changed when it comes to the world of TV news. The big news of the week was the clash between Indian and Chinese troops in Tawang, Arunachal Pradesh, and we saw news anchors tripping over each other trying to blame it all on their favorite antagonist – Jawaharlal Nehru. While Arnab Goswami, Sudhir Chaudhary and RSS discussed the blunders of Nehru, Navika Kumar questioned the opposition (but of course!). In all of this, Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 56-inch foreign policy went unquestioned.
Soon as the Tawang clash fizzled out of the news, TV channels quickly latched onto discussing the manufactured controversy around Shahrukh Khan’s upcoming film Pathaan. Just like we predicted!
