TV Newsance 210: Tucker Carlson and Fox News part ways, we found his lost brother in Indian media
This week, we turn the focus on Godi media’s contemporary in the US, Fox News. While Fox settled a defamation lawsuit filed by Dominion over its spread of false news, we take a closer look at the similar charades our usual suspects get away with – week in and week out.
Tucker Carlson, the channel’s firebrand primetime anchor, who was ousted in the most dramatic exit early in the week bears much resemblance to many of our usual suspects on primetime TV news.
We saw similarities between Tucker and Arnab. But a more suitable match for the former was found. Someone who delivers propaganda, misinformation and conspiracy theories, straight to the viewers, calmly, and without conducting loud debates.
Of course, we are talking about our Jihad expert Sudhir Chaudhary, who, back in India, was at it again. Indeed, Chaudhary made bizarre claims about same sex marriage and depression in India.
