The anatomy of Manipur violence
Session with Sena: Reporting on the conflict in Manipur
It’s been months since the first wave of violence gripped Manipur, leaving behind many crucial questions. Why did it spiral into a civil war? Was the official response too little, or too late, or both? And what lies ahead for the people of the northeastern state?
We tried to find the answers to all such questions with our ground reports, powered by you, with our NL Sena project – the anatomy of Manipur violence.
In a YouTube live at 7 pm on August 24, Newslaundry managing editor Manisha Pande was joined by the team that visited ground zero – reporters Prateek Goyal and Shivnarayan Rajpurohit and producer Priyali Dhingra. They took questions from subscribers, and offered key insights from the conflict-hit state.
