Ramnath Roenka Awards 2023: The worst of the worst of TV journalism
It’s that time of the year again! The Ramnath Roenka Awards 2023 are here, where Akash Banerjee and Manisha Pande recognise the worst of TV journalism.
It’s been an action-packed year with iconic and comical scenes playing out on our TV screens, from journalists quarreling to grab the now infamous ‘smoke bomb’ to the Times Now studio turning into an Ekta Kapoor serial starring Navika Kumar. Meanwhile, stories like Atiq Ahmed’s murder and the Seema Haider love story played out for months, each show more outrageous than the last.
So, we’re handing out some very prestigious awards to commemorate all the madness. We’ve got the No. 1 Reporting Of The Year award, Lappu Jaisa Media award, TRP Ke Liye Kuch Bhi Karega award, Hypocrisy Ki Bhi Seema Hoti Hain award, Taau Pe Mat Jaa award – and a lot more.
Don’t miss it as you welcome the new year!
