TV Newsance 244: Ambani pre-wedding, Rahul Kanwal’s method anchoring, Savarkar biopic

The past week, the internet was taken over by junior Ambani’s “pre-wedding function”, which saw the world’s elites land in Gujarat’s Jamnagar. We take a look at the event’s media coverage, and how the TV news anchor’s stance on certain Ambani guests swiftly changed.

We also look at the latest episode of India Today’s Rahul Kanwal’s show Jab We Met, in which he interviews Mukesh Ambani’s son and Reliance director Anant Ambani. The episode was, as usual, filled with moments that leave you in splits – not with Rahul but at him. 

Meanwhile, actor Randeep Hooda came on different news channels to promote his new movie, Savarkar, a biopic of rightwing idealogue Vinayak Damodar Savarkar. We trace everything ridiculous that comes out of these interviews.
