TV Newsance 259: Threat to PM Modi’s life exposed?

The week started off with the news of the assassination attempt on former US President Donald Trump. 

While the world mulled about the motive behind the attack, the Indian media was busy wondering if a similar attempt could be made against Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Most of the TV news suggested that Rahul Gandhi’s criticism of Modi crossed the line.

While Zee News picked up the most bizarre angle on the Trump assassination attempt, several other channels decided to focus on the price rise issue and even asked questions of the prime minister. Just not the current one.
