It’s that time of the year again when the finance minister announces the budget, leaving us all reevaluating our finances. But this year’s budget left the middle class underwhelmed, with no tax reliefs, and polarised TV news coverage.
Palki Sharma and Sudhir Chaudhary tried their hands at sarcasm in their attempt to criticise the Modi government over the budget, while another set of anchors gave it full marks. And then there was Arnab Goswami, who did both, as he cushioned all the criticism with a compliment.
