TV Newsance 261: UPSC aspirants’ deaths bring Godi media anchors to ground zero
This week started off with a tragedy as three UPSC aspirants drowned in the basement library of a coaching institute due to rainwater flooding in Delhi’s Karol Bagh. It soon triggered the usual blame game between the BJP and AAP.
But we were in for a shock when we switched on the TV news. Some of our usual Godi media suspects finally stepped out of their glitzy studios to report on the conditions of the students living in Delhi’s coaching hub, Old Rajendra Nagar and Karol Bagh.
Nonetheless, some of the TV news anchors continued with their old formula of pinning the blame on the opposition and not questioning the Supreme Leader.
