Humans of a BJP rally in Jharkhand: ‘We came to see Hindu hriday samrat!’
Manisha and Atul hit the road to cover a BJP rally in Jharkhand’s Barkagaon assembly constituency. Thousands gathered to catch a glimpse of “Hindu Hriday Samrat”, BJP leader and Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, although they ultimately had to settle for Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan.
Speaking to Newslaundry, BJP supporters shared their concerns over illegal immigration and demographic shifts, while others voice frustration with the Hemant Soren government’s performance.
