Mahakumbh: A confluence of faith and Hindutva politics?
From a VHP camp to “liberate” Hindu temples to a cow-protection Dharma Sansad, signs of Hindutva politics were all too visible at the Mahakumbh this year. The event banned the entry of Muslim vendors, but it allowed controversial figures such as Yati Narsinghanand to deliver speeches.
