I saw the press brief at the UN by Justice Muralidhar and was blown away. Can you please interview him to get an in-depth understanding of the situation? What, according to the UN, was the role of the USA in all of this, direct as well as indirect?

Keep up the excellent work! By reporting only the facts, as in Aakar Patel’s article and Anmol’s on-the-ground reports on CJP protests, you allow viewers to form their own opinions. That is what you guys do best!

You were wrong about the CJP. And now you’re ignoring them. This won’t do. They have managed to rouse the Indian populace, which has been in a moral coma for a while. Please do cover them and the farmers who have now joined them. This is hopeful, and there’s not much hope going around in our country today.

Just finished 'watching' and listening to the last episode of Hafta and feel so satiated as the video never played on my phone but only audio, so I had to let you all know! This is my second year as a subscriber, and I really look forward to listening to sane voices on the panel. 

(One question that keeps popping up during arguments with friends is, if not Modi, then who, to which I have no answer. Any answers there...?).

Dear NL Team, I have been an NL subscriber for five or six years now. Keep up the good work. Recently read the Bollywood and #MeToo story - one knew but not in its specificity - shocked but not surprised. On the eve of another paper leak and the talk on education, could you deep-dive into the takeover of educational institutions? While many talk about it as a general thing, the depth would take away its banality and express the crisis in its nuance. Just a thought. Thank you, and keep going.

Hi Hafta team,

The podcast player on the NL app sometimes keeps playing older episodes. Say I had 30 minutes left on last week’s episode and selected the new Hafta, but it was playing the older episode. Can someone look into it?

My personal annoyance with Anand, who personally seems to not like Rahul Gandhi and just went on and on about Rahul Gandhi not being courageous. Yes, it’s his job as opposition, but who else is bringing up these issues, especially opposing the Adani-Ambani mafia? Just completely ignoring that seems like boomer uncle behaviour! 

One personal anecdote: when I was studying at St. Stephen’s, Rahul Gandhi visited our campus in 2009 and gave a small speech encouraging young educated people to get into politics. We openly asked questions; they weren’t screened, and he even took critical questions about his nepo background in politics! Can you imagine leaders in the BJP doing this?
