March for Science
In April, researchers and scientists in the United States took to streets to protest against dramatic budgetary cuts and shift in scientific policies under President Donald Trump, with over 600 cities across the world participating in the march.
India held a similar march on August 9 arguing for better funding and governmental support for developing a scientific temper in society.
