BJP spokie sings Vande Mataram or something that sounds like it
Okay, we’re a little late to the party. But what the heck, hearing Bharatiya Janata Party spokie Navin Kumar Singh trying to sing Vande Mataram is so priceless that we thought we must share the joy. At a debate on Zee Salam, Singh was challenged to sing Vande Mataram to prove his patriotism by Mufti Ejaz Arshad Qasmi of the All India Muslim Personal Law Board. Singh humoured the request by singing the first two lines and then went on to go the whole hog, with a little help from Google, we’re guessing.
We hear words like “pulkistan”, “suhasin”, “sumandra” and, our favourite, “bhusmaani”. We’re guessing he got stuck on the “suhasini sumadhura bhashini” line.
We told you it’s priceless.
