Dwaipayan Bose quits DNA, joins India Today Group
Dwaipayan Bose, who was Editor-in-chief of DNA, has quit the organisation and joined India Today’s tabloid newspaper, Mail Today, as the Editor. The previous editor of Mail Today, Abhijit Majumder, had stepped down last week.
Notably, this is Bose’s second stint with the India Today Group. “I am coming back to this [India Today] organisation after 10 years. I consider this to be the gold standard for journalism. I am very happy and it is a very great team that I am working with,” he was quoted as saying by exchange4media.
Previously, Bose has worked with the Times of India and was in charge of the Bhopal, Indore and Raipur editions. The 44-year-old has also worked with several other media organisations including HT Media, Network18, and Dainik Bhaskar.
Joining the India Today Group, he tweeted, “Thrilled to join the venerable India Today Group, the gold standard for journalism in the country, as Editor of @mail today.”
