NL Interviews: Abhinandan Sekhri in conversation with Dhruv Rathee (Teaser)

Abhinandan Sekhri talks to Dhruv Rathee, a young Youtuber, part journalist, and part activist, as he describes himself. Rathee’s videos focus on current and political issues.

Abhinandan asks Rathee about a complaint filed against him by a BJP ‘volunteer’. Was there a point when he thought it’s enough? Why is he apprehensive about returning to India and chooses not to reveal his country of residence online.

Rathee also talks about working solo, seeking experts’ help to verify facts and how mistakes still go through. Abhinandan also asks the young Youtuber about dealing with online hate, political party loyalties and why the culture of being ‘woke’ and politically correct is disruptive to good journalism.
