#YetiFootprints: Cartoonists have a fun time with Indian Army’s discovery
It’s been about 24 hours since the Indian Army claimed in a tweet that it had discovered footprints of the giant beast Sri Sri Yeti Ji (we feel you, Mr Tarun Vijay). The tweet and reactions to it made international news yesterday and front-page news today. Cartoonists also had some fun with the discovery.
Times of India carried this cartoon in its Line Of No Control segment. The slogan had been doing the rounds social media yesterday.
The Indian Express had a cartoon next to its headline, a play on the phrase ‘foot in mouth’.
Meanwhile, some Good Samaritans on Twitter used the image to highlight the issue of potholes in Indian cities.
