Webinar: How data can help report on India’s gender gap
Newslaundry, in partnership with the India Data Portal project, incubated at the Bharti Institute of Public Policy, Indian School of Business, is organising a webinar on the topic, “How data can help report on India’s gender gap”.
Indian women are underrepresented across the country’s economic and social life. This session will discuss how this underrepresentation can be better reported by the media. How can data help journalists cover both gender specific and neutral issues? How can data help give news stories a gender perspective that might otherwise be overlooked. How can stories from rural India in particular – of access to essential utilities and healthcare for women, financial inclusion, land holding – be better covered using data?
The webinar is scheduled for 3 pm IST, December 23, 2020. If you would like to attend, register here. You will receive the Zoom link in your inbox closer to the date of the webinar.
See you there.
