Explained: Why was #modi_rozgar_do trending worldwide?
Sometime in the past few weeks, you may have stumbled upon the Twitter trend #modi_rozgar_do, meaning “Modi, give us jobs”. So many tweets were made with this hashtag that at one point it trended worldwide. What sparked this online campaign was anger among students over SSC-CGL exams. Beyond this one exam, it also underlined the very pressing problem of unemployment in India.
