Watch: BJP vs TMC tussle during voting at Nandigram booth
As Nandigram, the assembly constituency Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee is contesting from, started voting on Thursday, polling booth 7, at Boyal, saw high drama.
Controversy erupted when the Trinamool Congress alleged that members of the BJP weren't letting their agent set up a stall at the polling booth. The BJP, on the hand, claimed that the agent was not the one assigned to the booth. He was a Muslim from the neighbouring area assigned to a Hindu majority polling booth, they protested.
Mamata took note of the situation and visited the polling station.
