Rajasthan: Kota's Covid widows are victims of state neglect
In Rajasthan's Kota, women who lost their husbands to Covid are struggling on many fronts. Apart from financial issues, they often face social stigma due to their widowhood. The state government has announced that these women will receive monetary help under the Palanhar scheme, but several women told Newslaundry that they've received nothing so far.
