The media space in India has changed, said senior journalist Ravish Kumar in a heartfelt video on his YouTube channel – explaining his decision to end his 26-year journey with NDTV this week. On the sidelines of The Media Rumble this year, Newslaundry spoke to the Magsaysay awardee on the challenges faced by the media, its accountability, and the most absurd thing he has recently seen on news television.
“The big media which is getting advertisements worth of lakhs and crores needs to be viewed as a murderer. They are murderers of news.”
