TV Newsance 226: INDIA bloc bans Godi media, Modi-Saudi prince MBS’ friendship in primetime
The TV news anchors had a field day with the G20 Summit, and it did not end there. As the Saudi crown prince, Mohammad Bin Salman alias MBS, stayed back after the G20 meet for his official state visit, the television media blew up with visuals of “Modi and MBS’ friendship”.
Rubika counted the similarities between the two leaders, while Syed Suhail narrated the story of Modi playing peacemaker between MBS and US president Joe Biden. Zee News divulged what all happened after MBS “ran to hug Modi”. Meanwhile, Sushant got a chance to meet PM Modi along with MBS at the Rashtrapati Bhavan. And it compelled us to take a trip down memory lane to look at his views on Arab countries.
The big news this week was that the 12-member opposition INDIA alliance has decided to boycott 14 news anchors across nine channels for their communal and hate-filled debates. This resulted in the anchors hitting back, accompanied by a lot of hysteria and drama.
