Explained: All about NEET ‘paper leak’ in Bihar, cheating racket in Gujarat
Why did students from far off states travel to Gujarat to answer the NEET-UG exam? And that too in the regional Gujarati language? This strange fact surfaced as Newslaundry’s Sumedha Mittal hit the ground to investigate the alleged paper leak in Gujarat’s Godhra.
She also found that the same person was the exam coordinator for two districts, and why the NTA “did not cooperate” with the Gujarat police despite an FIR being filed in the matter.
Meanwhile, in Bihar, gangs allegedly have an organised network to facilitate paper leaks. Reporting from the backward state, I traced the modus operandi of these gangs which are spread across Patna, Nalanda, and Hazaribagh.
We were able to unravel these stories under our NL Sena project because you have our backs. But we haven’t uncovered the complete story yet, and need your support to get to the bottom of the matter. And we’re still short of funds. Contribute here to help us tell the NEET stories that matter.
