It’s the festive season, and both our air and our airwaves are filled with poison. This week we saw our usual suspects celebrate in their favourite ways — fear mongering and endorsing our supreme leader. 

Zee News took on the task to make us aware of “Mehendi Jihad”, or the conjured-up threat from applying mehandi. And Sudhir Chaudhary did an astute India vs China analysis, comparing the speed with which both the countries’ leaders walk. Meanwhile, NDTV returned to the power corridors as the PM addressed the NDTV World Summit, and we took a walk down memory lane on the evolution of its relationship with the establishment.
