Jan 14, 2025: Aaj Ka AQI from Lok Sabha Speaker’s home

Aaj Ka AQI is a new show aimed at fixing accountability for a solution to India’s air crisis. For episode 15, Newslaundry visited Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla’s home on Tuesday. 

The AQI reading at the nearest station was 296 or in the ‘poor’ category. Outside the MP’s home, the PM 2.5 level hovered around 160, while the air detector pegged PM 10 at around 184.
