CBI books six former Prasar Bharati officials, I&B ex-deputy secretary in graft case
After a Lokpal order, the CBI has filed a corruption case against six former officials of Prasar Bharati and a former deputy secretary with the information and broadcasting ministry.
The names of the accused or details of the alleged offence have not been disclosed. The case has been filed under section 61(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.
Two of the accused had held the position of additional director-general in Delhi while four were assistant engineers in Delhi and Bhubaneswar.
