Aaj Ka AQI
June 30, 2025: Aaj Ka AQI from Connaught Place
Four years ago, the AAP installed a smog tower in Delhi’s Connaught Place at a cost of Rs 22 crore. Now, the BJP has decided to install 150 air purifiers at Nehru Park in a pilot project to clean Delhi’s unbreathable air. It begs the question – do these really do any good? And are they sustainable solutions for a national capital that’s facing a crisis?
In this episode of Aaj Ka AQI, we went to Connaught Place to find out. Is the air noticeably better as a result of these measures? Watch to find out.
