Vehicles cause nearly half of Delhi’s air pollution – and old vehicles pollute even more.
Earlier this month, old vehicles were denied fuel at petrol pumps in Delhi. Then the move was rolled back. All of it happened in three days.
Why did the ban become controversial?
Newslaundry visited one of the petrol pumps which were at the centre of the fuel ban. The AQI of the area at 10 am read 61 under the satisfactory category.
